Drew Taddia On Reducing Stress And Toxicity For Health

Drew Taddia traveled the world as a professional athlete coming from Canada, through the US, and overseas into Australia and Germany following his dreams and passion of baseball. He quickly became the ‘go to’ guy regarding fitness and nutrition as he continually experimented on his own body to find out what foods.

I talk with Drew about how stress affects our health. What are some things that you can do to reduce the stress in your life? Nothing crazy and secret here. Drew basically teaches the same things I tell you guys all the time. Although we differ on meat ( to each their own). Don’t eat junk food, sugar, and gluten. Get some form of activity in your life. Have fun and be active.

12 Preps You Can Do For National Preparedness Month 2016

Are you ready for National Preparedness Month 2016? I feel like this should be read by a Monster Truck commercial guy. You know  the ones where they repeat the day like three times.  National Preparedness Month 2016 is coming to your arena this SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!!!

That’s how I feel about it anyway. While we should  prepare all the time. But September is special. Sure it’s great that the government actually gives reasonable recommendations on their Ready.gov Site. And even though I am very libertarian leaning. To the point of anarchy. I will admit when they do something I like. Telling Americans to get a kit and make a plan is worthy of a crisp high five.

For us preppers, though this is like a month long holiday. It is OUR month! It gives me the fizzies in my stomach. I love it. Since it is so important of a month I like to use it as a time marker. What I mean by that is I schedule certain things periodically. Things like checking your food

Things like checking your food preps for expiration dates. I like to check the dates twice a year. Fall and Spring. So for the fall one, I will plan it during National Preparedness Month.  I won’t even go into the expiration date myth. I mostly check for physical signs of damage or swelling of the cans.

We Cover all that and Much more!

What do you do for National Preparedness Month? Let me know in the comments!

Paul Kortman On Living A Modern Nomadic Lifestyle

This week we welcome on Paul Kortman. His family  has chosen a life of location independence. In early 2014, they  sold their house and most possessions.

They  homeschool their four children.  Paul’s business is run online so as long as he has an internet connection he can continue to make the same income independent of location. They are  choosing to improve our quality of life through travel and opening our kids’ eyes to a broader worldview.

The Kortmans are  currently in Mexico heading south after spending 2014 and 2015 in  Davao, Philippines; Chiang Mai, Thailand; Cape Town, South Africa; Sofia, Bulgaria; Lisbon, Portugal, and a few other locations.

We mostly focus the interview on online business and Location Independence. How running an online business you only need  internet access and you can run your business anywhere in the world. Not being tied to a specific location has many benefits.

We later go on to talk about the tyranny of the US Government. During this Paul gets passionate about the Child Protection Service specifically. Mike and I are both strongly against CPS.
